Chicken on a Raft

Royal Navy slang has never been short on colorful names for ordinary things, and “chicken on a raft” is one of the better examples: a fried egg served on fried bread or toast.

Our design takes the expression completely literally, putting one very determined chicken aboard a decidedly undersized raft. It’s simple sailor humor with a nautical twist—the sort of visual joke that works whether you know the old naval expression or just appreciate the absurdity of a chicken taking to sea.
